I am currently based out of Western North Carolina. I moved here from Charleston SC with my main squeeze Joel and our 3 dogs (Charley, a German Shepherd and 2 Pomeranians named Donnie and Rudy). We scooped up an old 1920's mountain house, and a cat who came with it (we call him Barnabas). I grew up in Rochester New York as a Kodak kid and photography has always been a passion of mine.  I have a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in painting and photography. I still paint my favorite subjects (my dogs).

A few more of my favorite things—Sneaking movie quotes into general conversations, hiking, watching nature documentaries, drinking coffee in the morning and tea at night, eating Mexican food, making dog version parodies of famous songs, 80’s music, sunglasses, reading/writing poetry, good design, naps, finding great art, and treasure hunting antique shops. D'Ambrosia Photography allows me to use my classical art training and lust for creativitiy to do what I love... find the wonder and little intimacies in the everyday and preserve them forever.
